Birdville ISD Superintendent Dr. Gayle Stinson announced the appointment of Andrea Anderson as the director of career and technology education (CTE) and college career military readiness (CCMR). Anderson is replacing Allison Vinson, who is retiring at the end of the school year.  

Anderson has been a CTE Coordinator in BISD since 2017. Prior to being a coordinator, she was a marketing teacher at Birdville High from 2007–17. She also has experience in the private sector. 

She earned her bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University and master’s degree from Lamar University. 

Birdville ISD Superintendent Dr. Gayle Stinson announced the appointment of Katie Moran as principal of Green Valley Elementary. Moran is replacing Dr. Nathan Frymark, who was recently named principal of Haltom Middle School.  

Moran has been principal at Hardeman Elementary since 2018. Prior to 2018 she was an assistant principal in BISD from 2013–18, Title I reading teacher from 2012–13, classroom teacher from 2002—12, and a bilingual teaching assistant in Fort Worth ISD in 2001. 

She earned her bachelor’s degree from Texas Christian University and master’s degree from Dallas Baptist University.
