Smith/Francisco Elementary

David E. Smith Elementary students/staff will begin attending school with the students/staff assigned to W.T. Francisco Elementary starting in August 2023. This merger of two schools into one family is happening so that the existing Smith Elementary building can be torn down and a new campus can be constructed on that site. By the fall of 2025, the students/staff at both schools will move to the Smith Elementary site.

Angela Limon

Limon has been principal at W.T. Francisco Elementary since 2017. Before Francisco, she was the assistant principal at Foster Village Elementary from 2014–17, a math interventionist at West Birdville Elementary from 2011–14, a teacher/reading recovery specialist at Foster Village Elementary from 2006–11, and a teacher/reading recovery specialist at Richland Elementary from 1999–2006.

She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas and master’s degree from Lamar University.

Mrs. Limon is replacing Dr. Sabrina Lindsey, who is retiring in May.

“I am excited to have two veteran principals/administrators to lead these campuses moving forward,” Dr. Stinson said. “They were chosen because of the leadership skills they bring to the table. I am confident they will lead their campuses to do remarkable things.”

Mrs. Holman and Mrs. Limon will continue in their current roles for the rest of the 2022–23 school year.
