Congratulations to Hafsa Syed (right), North Ridge Middle School student, for winning BISD’s 2016 Spelling Bee. Adriana Fackender from Holiday Heights Elementary was the runner-up.

Students Demonstrated District’s C.O.R.E. Values

Porter and Green Valley elementary students and counselors recently took the time to attend a basketball game at Calvary Christian Academy to cheer on the Gainesville State School team. BISD’s students demonstrated the District’s C.O.R.E. values of KINDNESS, EMPATHY and ACCEPTANCE as they cheered for boys who are paying the price for making poor choices. BISD’s students recognize the courage it takes for the State School students to work hard and change their lives for the better.
