BISD Graduate Named Yamaha Young Performing Artists Winner

Congratulations to BISD graduate Jordan Proffer for being named a 2022 Yamaha Young Performing Artists winner on the drum set. The Yamaha Young Performing Artists Program (YYPA) recognizes outstanding young musicians from the world of classical, jazz and contemporary music. Winners of this competition were invited to attend an all-expense paid weekend at the Music for All Summer Symposium, received a once in a lifetime performance opportunity in front of thousands, national press coverage, received a recording and photos of the live performance, and participated in workshops designed to launch a professional music career. #BISDShines #WeAreBirdvilleISD
