Today, Friday, May 13, is national School Communicators Day. This day was set aside to recognize the incredibly valuable work of school public relations professionals. In BISD, we are fortunate to have the following staff, who work tirelessly to provide trusted, reliable, relevant, and timely communication for students, families, staff, and our community.

  • Mark Thomas, Chief Communications Officer
  • Phil Beckman, Partners in Education Manager
  • Michelle DoPorto, District Webmaster
  • Abigail Juarez-Orona, Administrative Secretary/Web Services
  • Jessica Lomas, Receptionist/Administrative Clerk
  • Kim Tweed, Copy Editor
  • Stephanie Whitlock, Communications Specialist

Communicating with BISD families is critical to the continued success between the District and the community. Thank you to the Communications Department for being another reason #BISDShines.
