BISD is accepting public comment on the proposed 2019–20 calendar through 5 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 11.

PreK/PPCD
(AM) 8–10:30 a.m.
(PM) 10:40 a.m. – 12:40 p.m.

Elementary (K–5): 8:10 a.m. – 12:40 p.m.

Middle School (6–8): 8:40 a.m. – 1:10 p.m.

High School (9–12): 7:30 – 11:30 a.m.

Shannon High School: 7:45 – 11:45 a.m.

Touch of Class: Recognize a BISD Employee

Touch of Class is an opportunity for students, staff, parents and community members to recognize Birdville ISD employees for the positive work they do for children and the District.

When a Touch of Class nomination is received, a certificate and a copy of the nomination will be sent to the honoree’s supervisor. The supervisor will determine the appropriate time and place to recognize the employee and present them their certificate. In addition, random comments will be selected to be shared on the District’s website, as well as in its community newsletter, Birdville ISD News, and the employee newsletter, Birdville Bulletin.
