Richland High Band Wins Big at Mansfield Preview of Champions

Congratulations to the Richland High School Marching Band for finishing first overall at the Mansfield Preview of Champions. Richland also won Best Color Guard and Best Percussion in Class 6A. The band has three public performances scheduled for Oct. 11–13: Thursday, Oct. 11 at 7 p.m. at the Richland vs. Bell football game at the FAAC; Friday, Oct. 12 at 7 p.m. for a free community performance at Richland High; and Saturday, Oct. 13 at 9:30 a.m. for their exhibition performance at the BISD Marching Festival  at the FAAC.

Hardeman Elementary Wins at Watauga 5K

Hardeman Elementary had a group of 61 students, family members, staff and teachers represented at the Watauga “Scared to Run 5k Event” on Sept. 29. Their school came in first place with the most represented from a school and won $300. Congratulations, Hardeman Elementary!
