Haltom’s Head Football Coach Named Tom Landry Award Finalist

Congratulations to Jason Tucker, Haltom High School’s head football coach, for being named a finalist for the 2017 Tom Landry Award. The Landry Coach of the Year Award was created by CBS 11 and TXA 21 in partnership with the Greater Dallas/Fort Worth Fellowship of Christian Athletes’ Character and Leadership Initiative highlighting the “One Way 2 Play – Drug Free” program. The Landry Coach of the Year Award is presented by Raising Cane’s.

Haltom City’s waste management company, Waste Connections, recently donated more than 120 bicycles and helmets to give away to Haltom City children at Birdville Elementary. Thank you, Waste Connections for your generous donation.
