Congratulations to the volleyball teams from Birdville and Richland high schools for advancing to the area round of the UIL playoffs scheduled for Friday, Nov. 3.

Top 30 Rankings — Oct. 31, 2017 (Week 8)

Congratulations to The Pride of Haltom High Marching Band for being listed in HornRank’s Top 30 marching bands rankings. They are number 27. The band is under the direction of Donnie Hull, Tony Smith, Lynna Russell, Casey O’Neil, Jazper Saldana, Kristen Wilkirson and Gizzel Cruz-O’Neil.

Each week, HornRank ranks the top 30 marching bands in the nation. Their mission is to “positively impact music education in the United States by promoting the marching arts and encouraging competition and innovation through a national rankings system.”
